Waterjet Cut Stainless Steel
This decorative piece was waterjet cut from 304 stainless steel.

The original design was a raster image file. The character is the Chinese family name "Li."

The raster image file was converted to DXF using GNU Autotrace. A base was designed with QCad.

After waterjet cutting from 0.12" thick stainless steel, the parts were polished and assembled.
