We can make parts from a variety of materials not listed on the website. Start
by designing your part in your favorite CAD program or the Big Blue Saw
designer. Next, get a rough idea of the cost by getting a quote for your part
using a similar material. For instance, the cost for HDPE will be similar to the
cost for a plastic like polycarbonate. Finally, send an e-mail to
info@bigbluesaw.com with the type of material you would like and the
thickness, and we will give you a firm quote.

The online quoting system works up 36 inches x 36 inches. But we can make much
larger parts -- 4 feet x 8 feet easily, and even larger parts in some cases.

With the larger sizes, material availability and shipping can sometimes be
trouble, so we will quote those parts manually for now. E-mail

What is the maximum thickness of a part?

Also, we are looking to have exotic
woods and silver, brass, nickel, and copper cut, can you work with all of these,
even if we need to send them in?

We can easily make parts up to 3 inches thick and can make them even thicker,
depending upon the design and the material.
