Starting April 18, 2022, quoting and ordering will begin moving from Big Blue Saw to the Xometry website. You'll continue to be able to get fast service and instant quotes, in addition addition to a whole host of new materials and manufacturing processes!

Widespread raw material shortages and price increases have been in the news for months. Many of you are probably experiencing this directly in your businesses or personal lives. Here at Big Blue Saw, these market disruptions have affected not only the cost of the metals and plastics we use for your parts, but also consumables like the garnet sand that is necessary for our work. These raw materials are one of our biggest expenses.

At Big Blue Saw, we are dedicated to making custom parts in the USA, providing excellent personalized service, and paying fair wages to our employees. But when all of our suppliers have substantially increased prices and lead times this year, we need to make adjustments to support our vision of making it as easy as possible to turn your ideas into custom parts. Starting August 16, 2021, all orders will be subject to a Material Market Fee of 6%. This temporary change will remain until the market returns to normal.
