Currently we do not have the tooling in house to bend parts post cutting. If you want to bend your own parts post cutting, read our guide on designing a part with bending.

In that same vein, if you are planning to have someone else do the bending, you will want to talk out how you are planning on bending these parts with the person who will be doing the bending. There are a few ways to plan part lengths so that the overall finished part dimensions do not become skewed by the material needed to perform the bend, and you will want to be using the method that your fabricator is most comfortable with. A rectangular plate that is 4 inches wide bent at the mid point to a 90 degree angle is going to have legs on either side of that bend that are less than 2 inches long. For further information on planning bends, Wikipedia has a good overview.
